Spring is obviously the season for cushions!! Which I love because I am a little bit crazy about cushions! It seems a very small detail but if you take care of the small details the overall result is really taken up a gear.
I recently went to a beautiful house that had a very neutral lounge which the client was bored of. She was bored of the brown leather sofas and beige curtains. However both were in good condition, expensive and seemed a waste to replace. The current cushions were a mix of brown leather and beige. I threw them on the floor! Cleared the sofa of them all!
Then I put one patterned bright pink cushion on the sofa! The sofa was saved! 2 pink fabrics made into 8 cushions, 2 pink tiebacks and suddenly we have a lounge that oozes flamboyance and colour!
