Yes we do. We prefer to measure all the windows ourselves as there are always variations and problems that don’t seem obvious to the untrained eye! We can therefore point these out and advise accordingly.

We work from our own set price list, however, as our work is bespoke we prefer to give you a personalised quotation to illustrate the costs involved. Whilst we can work to most budgets, it is good to bear in mind that bespoke soft furnishings are a higher price bracket than online stores and large retailers.

All Sophie Sews curtains and blinds are made-to-measure by our team of local professionals, hand finished with great care and attention, and delivered to your door within 4-8 weeks. This is very favourable compared to many high-street names that take 12 weeks. There is also a seasonal rush at certain times of the year. We will always advise on an approximate time scale on quotation.

We can bring fabric books to our initial meeting for you to look through. We always ring beforehand to try and get a feel for the sort of fabrics and look that you are seeking. We can obviously only bring as many as we can carry! However, we have a larger range of fabric books for you to view at our shop.

We can also work with your own fabric if you have already found what you like.

Quotes under 10 miles of Woking, Surrey will be free, 10-15 miles will be £50 and over 15 miles will vary between £100 - £250 depending on distance. On occasion we may be able to offer evening or weekend quotes, these will be charged at £50 plus the above charges if applicable.

We require a 70% non-refundable deposit for all work undertaken. No fabric will be ordered or any work started until we receive this deposit. The 30% balance needs to be paid on the day that the work is delivered and/or fitted. Sophie Sews accepts cash, card payment, cheque or ideally, a bank transfer.

Yes fitting poles, tracks, blinds, as well as hanging curtains, is itemised on your quote. You can remove this service if you are looking for ways to keep costs down.
