An excellent and very professional service, there was a very wide selection of fabrics to choose from and some very welcome advice offered when asked for. The fitting of the finished curtains was quick, clean and to a high standard the five stars is without reservation.

We used Sophie on our Victorian cottage refurbishment project. Our brief wasn’t simple – we wanted blinds made with vintage fabric, and we wanted existing curtains cut down and redesigned – but Sophie was brilliantly accommodating, understood exactly what we were trying to achieve, and delivered what we wanted within budget and well in time for us to move in. We were absolutely delighted!

The service was excellent and Charlotte was great at advising and helping us choose the perfect fabric for curtains for our Snug room. Once they were ready Kathryn was in touch straight away to arrange the fitting. The fitting team were amazing and did such a good job getting the curtains up in our bay window. Sophie Sews have just fitted roman blinds into our new build house and we can’t thank them enough for their service. Sophie’s was kind enough to visit our building site, put on a hard hat, and advise us on our attic conversion windows. She measured and remeasured when the builder changed things, and in the end she created stunning blinds that really do finish the house. Her knowledge is second to none and we wont hesitate to use her on our next project.

Sophie originally came to make me some blinds for some awkward shaped dormer windows that I had been unable to get made from high street companies due to their shape. They were so gorgeous that I have now had her make some lampshades for me, cover a stool, cover a chair cushion and had 2 other sets of curtains made. The price is good, they get fitted quickly and the qualify is brilliant. I highly recommend!

We ordered curtains and blinds from Sophie. The service from Sophie Sews was amazing, Sophie personally came over to help us choose fabrics and measure up. When we weren’t sure she left the fabrics with us so we could see them in different lights, and let us change the choice we’d made once more before ordering. She was really helpful in guiding our decisions to achieve the vision we were trying to create. The team at Sophie Sews were absolutely fantastic. They came round, took into account my needs (I have a physical disability so we went with remote controlled electric blinds in most rooms) and helped me look at what styles and patterns would work, which was fantastic as I honestly didn’t know where to start! There was a lovely range of fabrics to choose from and the measuring was done quickly and efficiently. There was great communication throughout and when I ran into an issue with the electronics I had a response immediately and it got sorted very quickly. Sophie and her team were lovely, very friendly, keen to explain how everything worked and make sure I was happy with everything. I love the final product – the blinds and curtains have really enhanced the rooms! It was a pleasure to be able to use a local business and I can’t recommend them highly enough if you want a personal, professional service.

We asked Sophie Sews to come and visit our Georgia property and advise us on our huge bay windows. Sophie was so knowledgeable – she made us feel completely at ease with the process and helped us choose gorgeous fabric designs that we just love. She measured the huge spaces, talked us through poles and tracks, and then, just weeks later, her fitters transformed our home! We are now using her for window seats and bedrooms too.
