Worplesdon

For this property, we were commissioned to make two pairs of made-to-measure wave-heading curtains with a white blackout lining, with roman blinds to match in the ensuite. Blackout lining works really well in the upstairs of the house, blocking the early morning sun to allow you to sleep peacefully. Blackout lining also keeps a room warm in winter and cool in the summer.
The glamourous curtains for the upstairs in Worplesdon Surrey, near Guildford, were hung so the bottom fell below the sill for a more dramatic look. They were hung by our talented team of curtain fitters on two new tracks fixed under the existing wood lathes for the pelmets to hang on. The glamour was injected with the ebony tassel tiebacks and black shimmer fabric pelmets, which were also expertly fitted by our team.

An excellent and very professional service, there was a very wide selection of fabrics to choose from and some very welcome advice offered when asked for. The fitting of the finished curtains was quick, clean and to a high standard the five stars is without reservation.

We used Sophie on our Victorian cottage refurbishment project. Our brief wasn’t simple – we wanted blinds made with vintage fabric, and we wanted existing curtains cut down and redesigned – but Sophie was brilliantly accommodating, understood exactly what we were trying to achieve, and delivered what we wanted within budget and well in time for us to move in. We were absolutely delighted!

The service was excellent and Charlotte was great at advising and helping us choose the perfect fabric for curtains for our Snug room. Once they were ready Kathryn was in touch straight away to arrange the fitting. The fitting team were amazing and did such a good job getting the curtains up in our bay window. We are thrilled with them! Thank you all very much. Helen & Damien Honey.
